Aimee Levitt

Aimee Levitt is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in many publications, including the Guardian, Eater, and Texas Monthly. Previously, she was on staff at the Chicago Reader and the Riverfront Times in St. Louis as well as The Takeout and Eater Chicago, where her stories received recognition from the Poynter Rally Awards, the AAN AltWeekly Awards, the National Association of Black Journalists, and Best American Essays. She earned a BA in English at Northwestern and holds MA degrees from Florida Atlantic University (English) and Columbia University (journalism).
