“There’s no magic pill in football,” Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin said after his team’s come-from-behind opening-game win against the New England Patriots. “There are a lot of different ways to move the ball offensively... It’s time to go play a game.” And if played correctly, that game can land the Fins a coveted playoff bid, which hasn’t happened since 2008. Shit, even the Kansas City Chiefs have been to more playoffs than the Dolphins during the past two decades. That’s unacceptable. But this is the year of the Dolphins, dammit! We looked damn good against the Pats opening week. And by good, I mean we won. Remember Vin Diesel in The Fast and the Furious, the most inspiring friggin’ movie of 2001? “It don’t matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning’s winning.” He’s right. Forget the bandwagon — jump on the Miami Dolphins express right now. Tickets to Sunday’s game against the Chiefs cost $40 to $450 via Ticketmaster. Kickoff’s at 1 p.m. Go Dolphins!
