Your conscience has been warning you about all of the pointless partying you’ve been doing lately, but each and every night, you have told that little man to shut up and gone on with your debauched good times. But now you have no choice but to listen, er, read, because we have a way for you to do something good for mankind and have yourself a good time. May we mention cocktails, fashion, and music from Black Violin to get you excited? Thought so.

Friday at Harrison’s Restaurant (411 Washington Ave., Miami Beach), glamorous and concerned citizens will gather to celebrate at the Garden of Eden — a fashion benefit that will simultaneously give you an opportunity to see the works of local talent such as Amaya Swimwear and donate to The Center for Positive Connections, an HIV/AIDS support center. The city gives so much to us, but we can hear it saying, loud and clear, à la Janet Jackson: “What have you done for me lately?” So do something good for yourself and the 305, and at the afterparty, you can go back to living selfishly. Doors open at 9 p.m.
