Hey, Purdy Ladies

Shake your booty with DJ Le Spam tonight!

Given the ridiculous prices people pay for overrated clubs that assault patrons with crappy music, Purdy Lounge could probably make a mint off Bemba. But that’s not what this new event is about. It’s about the people and the music that shaped the Miami sound. You know it when you hear it: the slinky funk, the bumping bass; what it translates to is a sweaty dance floor and good vibes.

DJ Le Spam, Miami's ambassador of soul and founder of the Spam Allstars, will make love to your ears from behind the decks. Other musicians and DJs include Push Button Objects, Sindri, Alpha 606, Nomadic, Afrobeta, Elastic Bond, Maniac, AS1, Karakter, Medley, and Haviken Hayes. Hip-hop? Check. Electro? Check. Miami Bass? Check. There are a lot more checks, but you get the point. Leave Washington Avenue to the tourists and pseudo thugs. You’ll have a better time beginning at 10 tonight at Purdy Lounge.
